YVR airport to San Cristobal de Las Casas #AdventurezInMexico

Hola Amigos, so this is the journey so far. I hope you like it.

If you do like and are able could make a little donation to my Patreon and help support us a little.  Think about it! I would really appreciate it! Gracias. https://www.patreon.com/bePatron?c=210166

Adventurez In Mexico is a blog about the Journey of a Canadian Mother and Child(whose father is Mexican) and their Adventurez and they travel, learn and explore the Mexican landscapes, language and cultural traditions.

Tina, who goes by Cristina aqui and Angel, but they like to call her Angela, became pregant in Mexico but due to circumstances such as 9//11 and other issues returned to Canada to have her child. She could not return until Angel was 6, then again at 7 and at 10, she managed to get the money to come to Mexico for 5 months. The father helped with the first trip but after Tina has raised her child alone as the child's father is poor. Oaxaca is a very poor state. People are lucky if the make $20 a day. Now Tina, me, I have managed to get back for Angel's 15th year, a very important year in a young Mexican woman's life. We will have a tiny QuinceaƱera
But really just coming to Mexico is the gift. Stay tuned for our Adventurez In Mexico as we will be here until the end of February. Follow along and learn what it is like to live like Mexicans in Oaxaca do. Come visit. Come to Zipolite, West Jet is going to have a big sale in November...if you coming please let me know...I need some things, like eucalytus oil and probably more lavender.

We have a wish list,
2 fishing rods,
2 old bikes
a bunk bed, so Angel can have her own bed
things like that. Not much...

Okay, besos y abrazos!
Zipolita (Cristina) y Angelita (Angela) really Tina and Angel but they change our names here..
They don't like the name Tina...it means bathtub and they think Angel is a boy's or mans name so they change it...to Angela. Different cultures...did you learn something...we will teach you lots.

Stay tuned for more Adventurez In Mexico #AdventurezInMexico

Wow! So it's here, I wasn't thinking too much about the New Year as I was so excited about Christmas.

Seeing Christmas thru the eye's of a child is such an amazing and uplifting experience, it makes your eyes tear and your heart grow so big sometimes it feels like your going to burst.

I have been SO VERY VERY BLESSED this year.   I feel these last 5 months have been the most peaceful and happiest in my life.   My stress level went from like 10-0.  I just totally relaxed.

My life here has been filled with so much love and happiness and I give thanks to God and all the positive powers that be for blessing me so generously.

It was truly an amazing year for us. Mexico is home to us in so many ways and I pray and project that I our dreams come true in this next year.

What are my dreams and prayers?

Well, my biggest wish and strongest desire is that of my daughter's, that we can live in Mexico.

So this year ...

I Dream, Pray,  Project ... I BELIEVE that Angel and I will

  •  live on a little piece of land in Zipolite
  •  build a small cob house
  •  continue to homeschool
  •  speak better Spanish ;)
  •  have raised bed gardens that produce wonderful fruits & vegetables to nourish my family
  •  have chickens and maybe rabbits, a little chihuahua, a cat and a bird
  •  have a pop bottle green house to start all my seeds and small plants in
  •  have a wonderful composter that creates rich black healthy soil to grow my garden in
  •  continue to be surrounded by loving family and friends
  •  be able to give gardening, cob building, art, chocolate making  & social media workshops
  •  enjoy days are filled with art, long nature walks, playing in the ocean, riding bikes, & peace
  •  grow, harvest and eat beautiful bounties of healthy food and medicinal herbs like lavender
  • continue to help artists & small biz to promote themselves thru videos, photos & blogs
  • create a film about Zipolita'z and Angelita'z Adventurez in Mexico
  • travel and see more of the world
  • be as relaxed and full of love and happiness as the last 5 months of been

Rich On Time, Not Money!! Breaking Free!

Breaking Free [FULL] from Matador Network on Vimeo.

http://matadornetwork.com/breaking-free/

Harnessing the power of the Matador Network, the world’s largest independent travel community, BREAKING FREE explores the lives of real-life Americans who have dared to live their dreams.

Ditching routine, comfort zones, and their own personal fears, they have sought and found vibrant, purpose-driven lifestyles to inspire viewers of all ages.

Filmed in diverse locations around the world, each hour-long episode investigates how these remarkable people started over, understanding the unique challenges, goals and passion that allowed them to follow their heart.

--------------------------
BEFORE NOMINATING A CANDIDATE

We’re looking for candidates who:

* have broken out of the regular 9-5 lifestyle are living abroad in a foreign country
* have established a business, project, or something cool in their cities/community
* are an inspiration to everyone they meet

We are NOT looking for people who are simply traveling abroad. We want to learn the how and why someone takes the leap, and how they’ve learned to overcome their challenges and really establish themselves in another community.

Wow! What this guy says at the beginning about his grandfather having missed out on things and feeling he could have done so much more. Powerful!  and the part where the woman says she wants to experience more with her child, those two notes really touch home with me. This is nomination thing for Americans, but one day I hope it will be this Canadian- traveling, writing, exploring, sharing, enjoying life in the moment. Rich in time, not money.
