McDonald's sued over Happy Meals- I LOVE THIS!!

Finally someone is going to stand up to this crap!! Angel has never eaten at McDonalds, I taught her early on that the in my opinion French Fries are like putting plastic into your heart.

This is how I explained transfats. For years people thought I was crazy because I just thought French Fries were so toxic. But hey listen if plastic is actually made from oil that it doesn't take rocket science to figure out that deep-frying changes the molecular structure of it and well it's definitely not something God intended us to eat. You don't see animals eating it.

Big Mac's and all those other awful meals, so unhealthy for you and then they target the kids by trying to get them to eat their "Happy Meals" so they can have the toys.(What if we renamed them "Heart Attack Meals" - or Diabetes Meal..)  not so "Happy" then.

Actually Angel has had the toys, she gets them from a friend who eats there, despite my warnings.

Anyways so here is this great attempt to get the evil marketing people behind this. Shame, Shame, Shame is all I can say...and boy is your karma bad.

Here's part of the article below and then just follow the link at the bottom to read more. I just read that MacDonalds plans to double it's stores in China. Yikes!

McDonald's sued over Happy Meals

A consumer protection group filed a class-action suit against McDonald's Wednesday morning, claiming the toys included in Happy Meals bait and induce children to develop a preference for nutritionally poor foods.

The suit was filed by the Center for Science in the Public Interest on behalf of Monet Parham of Sacramento, Calif., and her six-year-old daughter Maya.

"McDonald's exploits very young California children and harms their health by advertising unhealthy happy meals with toys directly to them," the suit states.

"Children eight years-old and younger do not have the cognitive skills and the developmental maturity to understand the persuasive intent of marketing and advertising," the suit continues, "Thus, McDonald's advertising featuring toys to bait children violates California law because it is inherently deceptive and unfair."
