We have not recover yet from the last hurricane and the rain is coming again so any donation is a big help.

Missing Shambhala

Gosh I'm missing Shambhala. Almost every morning for the last month I was there I would go up early and spend a little quiet time. Often before or at sunrise. It was so peaceful. I thank God for those beautiful precious moments.

Shambhala- Casa de Gloria
End of the Year and New's Year's Celebration.

Dec 31st, 8pm.

We had a wonderful time as always at the KARMA CLEANSING at Shambhala -Casa de Gloria - last night. Here are some photos and videos. The lighting is always very difficult. It all happens so fast, so not really time to set things up. Anyways I was lucky and got a few really great shots plus a friend there took a few photos of us. That's nice because I made our dressesoutfits and you only wear the floral crown during the ceremony (then you burn it) so if you don't get a photo, there is no other opportunity.

Looking at all the video again makes it so much more special. Next time though I may not photograph it. Just go and watch and really get into more.

I was disappointed I didn't get more photos of Gloria. Should have done it right at the start, but just had time to give her a kiss and hug and it was time to find a seat.

This year though we couldn't and it was hard for Angel to stand the whole time. She was happy when we got to the beach and she could sit. Still she did fantastic and I'm very proud and grateful for her.

I'm really grateful for Gloria for putting on this incredible magical event. It's really amazing that she pulls this off year after year. Especially this year with the hurricane and all. I know things have really been tough.

Zipolite-Shambhala Karma Cleansing-Oax. Mex.

So here we are! Here we are again, at the end of another year. Today's a very Special Day! A day of endings and a day of beginnings.

A time of Resolutions. I'm making a few.

Tonight is a beautiful night in Zipolite. I am not positive it's happening because I am not there, but it's been going on for so many years...I am sure it's about to happen.

The Shambhala Karma Cleansing Ceremony

At's Gloria's- over at Shambhala they are getting ready. Cooking food, creating the floral crowns, they've been practicing the chants for a while, it's busy, busy, busy.

And if you take a little walk to the Meditation Point, you will see they are preparing for tonight.

Tonight will be Super Cool! We had so much fun and it wasn't anything I expected. It's really fabulous, you really must go. Wear all white and Refrain from using any Drugs or Alcohol. I promise you will feel wonderful after. It's an experience you will never forget and hold dear to your heart all your life.

Angel and Gloria in the moment. This is such a truly magical ceremony. The chanting, candles, flowers, fire, Shaman, dancing, everything about it embodies the "best of every belief" is what Gloria told me and it is so true. I LOVE this photo of Gloria. It captures all the beauty and harmony and love of the moment, so much hard hard work goes into it, and it's not cheap and Gloria manages it somehow. It would be nice if people donate as it's a wonderful gift of generousity on Gloria's part. Anyways, the year's we went it was free and it was awesome!

We were blessed to go to two Karma Cleansing Ceremonies and I eagerly look forward to my next. Which for now I project is next year. I wish it was sooner. At least I have all these great photos to help me re-live it all.

Yogi Cameron

So cool I saw this yesterday. Yogi Cameron was on Dr. Oz http://www.doctoroz.com/. Normally I don't even watch TV and especially not during the day..but who knows why, that was what happened and this is the wonderful information I was gifted with.

I always remember the first time I visited Zipolite and went to Shambhala http://adventurezinmexico.blogspot.com/2010/09/shambhala-in-zipolite-oaxaca-mexico.html.

I arrived in the evening and in the morning when I awoke and opened my shutters I rewarded with the most incredible sunrise and 2 girls on the beach doing the most beautiful yoga poses in the sand. What a first impression!

Since then I have always wanted to do yoga. I have watched people on the beach and there is a fabulous yoga center - The Solstice http://www.solstice-mexico.com/index.php, in Zipolite that I always wanted to attend... but it hasn't come together.

I have been thinking alot more about Yoga lately, but his demonstration on Ayurveda medicine really touched a point with me. Daniel -Gloria's (Shambhala Vision-Zipolite) brother had talked to me about this ancient practice, but I didn't get it. That was over 10 years ago, and now I am finally understanding this all so much more.

So I just wanted to share this info with you. I am going to buy this book today - " The Guru In You" http://yogicameron.com/index.php and it's my dream that Angel and I can go to India http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/India and learn about this more and really make this part of our life. That's my dream...
