I hope you all had an amazing Christmas! We did! It was small and quiet but nevertheless, very beautiful and special. I had worked hard beforehand getting the tree and nativity scene. I bought some rosemary and and some fake garland and made a wreath and put the garland along the little railing outside our room.

I had brought some cookie cutters and I am so grateful to my dear friend Elia for making the dough and letting us cut the cookies and bake them so we had little reindeer, star, teddy bears and Christmas tree cookies for Santa. And of course we had to leave him some pan dulce :)

Zipolite was pretty quiet people wise, but noise wise, it was crazy. The Barracuda bar across the street had the music going SUPER LOUD and poor Angel could not sleep. One she was too excited about Santa and two the noise went on til about 4 am. So I didn't sleep either.

Finally around 5:30 Angel got up to see if Santa had arrived and yes indeed he must have popped in while she slept for a moment, but she'll tell you she didn't sleep a wink.

Santa gave her a lovely pink bear. Our family gave great stuff. (I actually bought the stuff because you can't ship it, it takes for ever). Anyways there were hairbands, art pens, a beautiful bag to keep sewing stuff in, Dvd's, a new knapsack and the stocking was full of chocolate kisses, toothbrush, cookies, and other goodies.

Angel gave me a gorgeous heart shaped amber necklace from Yogui and I gave here a beautiful amber bracelet. They say all little Mexican girls should have one for luck ;)

"It was The Best Christmas Ever!" I love hearing Angel say that! It was really really nice.

Later we went up to Loma Meditation and gave thanks for all the things we recieved and for a wonderful family and sent positive thoughts and energy to everyone that they may have a great Christmas.

In the evening we had dinner at Piedra de Fuego.  It was delicioso as usual. We were supposed to have lobster (as I had traded my cooler for them) but the sea was too rough and they haven't been able to go out for a few days. Hopefully on Dec 31 though.

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. Here's the Christmas Card Angel made(it's a pokemon card ;)) that we send to everyone and a few pics from the day.
