So what to kids in Mexico do for fun before school starts...they chase each other with scorpions...LOL!!
No, just teasing...well sort of. I put my girl in school and yesterday the excitement when we got to school was a girl came over to show her something.

This is what she had.

My daughter loves bugs and she has seen them before, so she held it and it was actually still alive (probably dying) they had removed the stinger. It was amazing to see up close. Later one of the boys did chase a girl with it but the teacher shut that down right away!!

Here is a huge beautiful moth that was outside our home.

Today we are going to buy some fishing line and try our hand at fishing. Angel has never really caught a big fish, she did catch a baby pike by hand this summer in Mill Bay! Looking forward to some fish dinners. We had dinner at a friend's last night. Delicioso!!!

That scorpion was supposedly from the field behind the school. It's a gorgeous field and I had been eyeing it up to propose an Edible Schoolyard. http://edibleschoolyard.org/ But we'd obviously have to get some skilled workers to clear it first.

**Note, I corrected my bad spelling of scorpion. My kid said...Mom, you spelled it wrong again. Ooops Sorry!
